GPMA holds industry-academia meet

The Goa Pharmaceutical Manufactures’ association (GPMA) conducted an interactive session between the local units and the academia at Sanofi-Synthelabo, Verna industrial estate.

Around 75 participants and academic institutions were a part of the interaction. It delved on issues such as skill building and industry readiness of students, relevance of the syllabus and how it could be tailored to the present needs of the industry, po-activeness on the part of the industry to help build student capabilities. Industry pointed out need for a technically sound workforce. Dr Praveen Khullar, President, GPMA addressed the gathering followed by the rollout of the vision and mission documents.
