GPMA Logistics Seminar - Taj Vivanta on 24th Nov

GPMA conducted a Logistics Seminar on the 24th of November 2012 at The Taj Vivanta Hotel, Panaji. The event was sponsored by Flyjac Logistics Pvt. Ltd. The seminar was inaugurated by Shri Mara Pandiyan, IAS, Chairman, MPT in the presence of Mr. Salim Veljee, Director Food and Drug Administration, Goa. Speaking on this occasion Shri Mara Pandiyan, threw light on the need of the hour for change of mindset and moving out of the comfort zone of importing to JNPT and the changeover to Murmagoa port. Mr. Salim Veljee also spoke on the occasion regarding the usage of Murmagoa Port. Mr. A S Madhavan MD, Flyjac Logistics was also present on the occasion and shared his views on Evolution, the Indian scenario. Other speakers included Mr. Ryan Viegas VP Watson Phama, Mr. Markus Keller, Director LPL Pharma Switzerland; Mr. Machida, Manager, Hitachi Transport System, Japan; Sasi Kartha GM, Bengal Tiger Ltd, Mr. Biju Mohan, Manager, Aspinwall;Mr. A V Ravikumar Jt MD Flyjac logistics and Mr. Krishna Kumar VP MSC india. The event also saw the active participation of speakers like the airport director Mr. M. Suresh who has envisaged and accommodated the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry in his expansion program at the Dabolim Airport.  Mr. Sriram Athri, of Prasanna Trust which runs LIFE (Living in Freedom—An Enquiry) program and is the head of its Mumbai chapter enlightened the audience regarding Change Management. The seminar was followed by an entertainment session, cocktail and dinner.
